Part IV – Exercise
Christmas is not an excuse to stop working out. It’s vital to keep up your healthy eating and exercising regime. Weigh your self regularly and take action when you think it’s necessary. Not knowing where you are with your weight or size is your worst enemy – fight your fears and be a winner.
Take responsibility too. If you’re doing well sticking to the plan – celebrate! Whether it’s a massage, facial, a new dress/suit, a night out in the country, tickets to a concert… whatever works for you – you deserve it.
Be persistent. If you didn’t resist the temptation of a delicious and decadent dinner, you’ll have to make it up to your self. 72 hours of being good will do just fine.
You need to make sure you exercise and burn those extra calories though. Make time for it, make it enjoyable and make it worth it, rather than something tedious or a duty. If you need a bit of help, find a friend to work out with – you can motivate each other. Visualize how good you’re going to feel after you’ve finished each session. Think about how good it is to sweat. You are detoxing, burning and keeping active – it’s a win-win formula. Use the stairs at any given chance. Walk all the way to work if you can, or at least part of the journey. Any extra effort you make now will be paid back in droves. That dress that you look fabulous in? That’s what I’m talking about.
I hope that you will find all these pre-Christmas blogs useful.
I wish you all a fantastic and healthy Festivities and a New Year full of success in achieving all of your fitness goals!
